YFTAs X INTERNATIONAL FAIR TRADE SUMMIT 2024

On the 17th, 18th and 19th September 2024, Sara Rentroia Pacheco represented the Young Fair Trade Advocates (YFTAs) at the International Fair Trade Summit in Cape Town. Organised by the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO), this event brought together business leaders, practitioners and advocates dedicated to rethinking how we can create a more equitable and sustainable global trading system.

Across sessions, youth engagement was consistently highlighted as being crucial to shaping the movement’s sustainability and growth. For the YFTAs, Sara’s participation demonstrated our commitment to empowering youth voices and collaborating with different actors to develop innovative solutions to the challenges faced by the Fair Trade movement.
