EESC Civil Society week

From 4 - 7 March 2024, the YFTAs were invited to participate in the Civil Society Week of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC). The event gathered youth groups, journalists and EU institution officials to debate about what is expected from Europe's future leaders at the European Commission and European Parliament.

We were able to inform about our network and the current BiteSizedChange campaign. Specifically, we highlighted the urgency of global sustainable food systems and a global fair and ecological transition. We had a wonderful time meeting a diverse range of people at our stand, from policymakers to members of the general public. The conversations we had were incredibly inspiring. Additionally, we attended key sessions on the well-being economy, social inclusion, and the democratisation of European projects, which were enlightening and thought-provoking.
